“Sonokrep Protector” direct mounting cantilever bracket with rubber gasket

Description

A cantilever bracket (in other words direct mounting bracket) with a rubber elastomer
gasket is necessary to reduce noise. It is used as a protection from vibration in walls,
partitions and ceiling profile constructions and sound isolation systems, in order to better
the acoustic characteristics of the premises. It is an ecological way and is easy to execute.

 framed ceiling systems;
 framed walls systems;
 any type of hanging and framed constructions.
Composition:
 direct mounting hanger for the metal profile 27 x 60 mm;
 rubber elastomer (gasket).
“Sonokrep Protector” is a universal sound isolator for the vibration and structural noise
transmission suppression. For the sound isolation of the systems of the hanging ceiling and
walls, the most suitable way is with the cantilever bracket with the gasket. It is used in the
systems with plasterboard, gypsum, magnesium concrete – glass materials, OSB, etc., in
order to improver acoustic characteristics. It is an economical analogue of the professional
hangers. It’s used in any type of premises and does not require any special mounting skills.
“Sonokrep Protector” is made of a “U” form galvanised perforated steel (1mm thickness).
The kit consists of a vibration-resistant case, protecting from the contact with plugs. The
gasket is made from a regular density rubber elastomer. This material reduces the vibration.
The hanger is ideal for the standard profile (27 x 60 mm).
Recommendations for use:
“Sonokrep Protector” are the same as KNAUF direct mounting cantilever brackets. The
hangers are mounted using the fastening method. After that goes the metal profile,
standard size 27 x 60 mm.
